Here at Paulet High School we aim to inspire a love of reading in our students. Reading for pleasure has a dramatic impact on educational outcomes, but it is also a huge pleasure in itself.
To encourage our students to engage in reading, every student in Year 7 and Year 8 has been given the opportunity to choose their own book to keep from a list of 17 titles suitable for 11 – 13 year olds and selected by a panel of experts.
There was great excitement this morning when the students were presented with their books.
