Young Enterprise

One such enrichment activity we are involved in is the Young Enterprise Competition

Last Year, as a school, we were successful.

So how are we doing this year? Well, not bad.

Our team is called Aura and we have designed and manufactured ‘in-house’ a mood light. We aim to sell these to the public and to restaurants / shops.

In terms of the competition, we have won the first stage, the Business Plan, and successfully negotiated the Dragons’ Den event.

There was more success for our budding entrepreneurs at the Young Enterprise Trade Fair in Burton's Coopers Square on Saturday 22nd February.

The team successfully claimed the award for Best Trade Stand. This adds to their success earlier in the competition, when they won Best Business Plan at the Young Enterprise Dragons’ Den event in November.

They will now go on to compete in the regional final at Burton Town Hall in April.
